Can we say that something truly significant has happened in Belarusian culture in recent years? Who have we (re)discovered in these “dark” times? Which works deserve to be remembered and which can be left behind?
These are the questions explored by Cultural Re:vision, a project by Reform.news that brings together Belarusian critics, cultural journalists, and researchers to map the contemporary cultural landscape of Belarus and its diaspora.
Over the course of six months, Reform.news publishes analytical and critical texts on creators, works, and cultural phenomena that define the present moment, free from censorship and formal constraints. This is not just an overview, but also a rethinking of Belarusian cultural criticism itself, shaped through the authors’ choices, voices, and reflections.
