Under the new ArtPower Belarus call for Track 1: Organisational Development, 14 projects have been selected for support. Track 1 is designed to strengthen Belarusian cultural organisations and initiatives by supporting their long-term development, team capacity, and organisational resilience.
Unlike grants that support individual cultural projects, Track 1 focuses on strengthening organisations themselves. It helps Belarusian cultural organisations build a solid foundation for long-term development through strategic planning, organisational capacity building, improved governance, stronger financial and operational management, partnership development, and audience engagement.
“Most applicants took part in the organisational development mentoring programme, where they assessed their organisation’s capacities and developed an action plan. This is an especially valuable process, as it encourages teams to reflect honestly on their organisation’s sustainability, future prospects, and long-term development, while identifying both their strengths and areas for improvement. In turn, mentoring helps organisations set priorities and identify practical steps they can take today to become more resilient and better prepared for the future,” the ArtPower Belarus team commented.
All applications underwent a multi-stage evaluation process. They were first checked for eligibility, after which each application was independently assessed by two experts. The final decisions were made by the ArtPower Belarus Selection Committee, taking the expert assessments into account.
