ArtPower Belarus launches a new call under Track 1. Organizational Development

The ArtPower Belarus grant support program announces the launch of a new call under Track 1. Organizational Development. The call for applications opens on March 17, 2026, and will remain open until May 12, 2026 (23:59 Minsk time). The results will be announced no later than July 10, 2026.

Objectives and priorities of the track

The main objective of Track 1 is to strengthen the capacity of cultural organizations in order to support the development of the infrastructure of independent Belarusian culture.

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • develop infrastructure or service-oriented cultural organizations (such as hubs, galleries, art residencies, production centers, media platforms, educational centers, studios, etc.);
  • contribute to education, networking, and cross-sectoral cooperation;
  • support cultural activities in Belarus or strengthen connections between cultural practitioners and audiences in Belarus and the diaspora;
  • have exceptional value for the development of Belarusian culture.

Key conditions for applicants

Support under this track may include:

  • implementation of organizational changes (procedures, internal policies, partnerships, security);
  • development of communication tools (websites, social media, public materials);
  • capacity building for team members, volunteers, and participants;
  • strategic sessions, mentoring programs, and internships;
  • purchase of equipment, rental of premises, and conducting audits;
  • core institutional support for the organization’s activities.

At the same time, creative projects (such as concerts, films, exhibitions) are not supported under Track 1 unless they are directly linked to the organization’s development and constitute part of the project.

Who can apply

Applications are open to:

  • registered organizations;
  • unregistered initiatives with a fiscal partner.

To apply under this track, applicants must complete and attach the document Organizational Development Assessment and Plan.

To support applicants in preparing this document, the program offers mentoring. Requests for mentoring support can be sent to info@artpowergrants.org until April 28, 2026. The project team strongly recommends submitting requests well in advance to allow sufficient time for finalizing the application.

The main reasons for failing the technical eligibility check include:

  • submitting an application by a grantee who is already implementing another project within the program at the time of application;
  • failure to complete the document Organizational Development Assessment and Plan, or inconsistency between the application and the assessment results;
  • submitting the application in a language other than Belarusian or English.

The duration of projects may range from 3 to 12 months. Project implementation must start no earlier than September 1, 2026, and end no later than August 31, 2027.

Grant amount: from EUR 10,000 to EUR 40,000, with the possibility of increasing up to EUR 60,000 in specific cases (e.g., projects implemented in partnership or involving activities in two or more countries).
