ArtPower Belarus opens a new call for Track 2: Creative projects

The ArtPower Belarus program continues its grant competition for representatives of the Belarusian independent cultural sector and announces a new call for applications under Track 2. Creative Projects. Applications open on November 25 and will be accepted until January 13, 2026 (11:59 p.m. Minsk time).

Key conditions for applicants

The new call for Track 2: Creative Projects invites Belarusian artists and cultural professionals working both inside the country and in exile. Eligible applicants include cultural organizations, independent initiatives, and partnership or cross-sectoral projects that unite representatives of different fields and disciplines.

Support within the track is provided for a wide range of initiatives related to the development of contemporary Belarusian culture. Among them may be projects aimed at creating new artistic or cultural products — performances, films, exhibitions, books, music albums, media productions, interactive and educational formats, research and analytical initiatives. Funding may also be directed to the organization of public events, festivals, screenings, and exhibitions that contribute to expanding the audience and developing cultural dialogue.

Grant amounts: MINI from 3,000 to 10,000 euros; MIDI from 10,000 to 40,000 euros. Applications up to 60,000 euros may also be considered, which are evaluated according to special criteria.

What’s new in this call

The new call of Track 2 was developed taking into account the experience of the first competition stage, as well as numerous suggestions and feedback from applicants. The program team has updated all guidelines, forms, and Q&A, which are now available on the program page byculture.org/artpower_belarus.

Key updates:

  • Updated application and budget forms. They have become more convenient and precise.
  • 1 application from 1 applicant. If the participant submits several applications, only the first one will be considered (this applies to both MINI and MIDI grants).
  • Expanded Q&A. The most frequent questions from participants of the first call with detailed answers have been collected.

Deadlines and application assessment

Project implementation within this call may last from one to twelve months, depending on the format and scale of the idea. Applications can be submitted until January 13, 2026 (23:59 Minsk time) through the online form on the program website.

All applications undergo a multi-stage selection process: after technical verification they are reviewed by independent experts from relevant cultural sectors, who assess the alignment of projects with the program’s goals, their artistic value, sustainability, and development potential. Results will be published after the expert review is completed and the final decision is made by the ArtPower Belarus selection committee.
