The ArtPower Belarus programme, implemented in partnership by the Belarusian Council for Culture and the Danish Cultural Institute, and funded by the European Union, announces an open call for experts to evaluate project proposals in the field of culture and the arts.
Main Responsibilities of the Experts:
- Evaluation of proposals according to the published criteria;
- Providing well-reasoned and constructive comments;
- Participation in online meetings (if necessary);
- Completion of evaluations within the established deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven professional experience in a relevant cultural or artistic field;
- Experience with project-based work in the cultural or civil society sectors;
- Ability to conduct analytical evaluations and provide meaningful feedback;
- Proficiency in both Belarusian and English (mandatory!);
- Prior experience in project evaluation within grant programmes.
Your application must include:
- The level of proficiency in Belarusian and English;
- A list of programmes where you previously served as an evaluation expert;
- A clear indication of your fields of professional competence (*see below).
Terms and Conditions:
- Payment: 30-40 euros for evaluating one proposal, depending on the category;
- Start of evaluation: from 22 July 2025 (duration: 2–3 weeks);
- An online briefing session will be organised before the evaluation process begins.
- To maintain the independence and objectivity of the evaluation, the names of the experts are not disclosed;
- The experts are required to maintain the confidentiality of information obtained during the evaluation of the proposals.

Educational initiatives, capacity-building, cultural analysis, archiving, research, museum work, and educational projects for children and youth. - Cultural Event Management
Organisation of festivals, awards, public events, artistic residencies, cultural celebrations, and international initiatives. - Communities and Professional Associations
Creation and operation of communities, professional networks and associations, development of networking, partnership building, exchange of experience, collective representation of interests, and advocacy work.
